A Very Designer Easter

And by "designer" we don't mean Louis V....

We have some really fabulous invitation designers on our Paper Style team (most of whom have really cute kids or dogs). They're the ones who come up with the designs that you fawn over before deciding to buy invitations from us, and we love them. Since last weekend was Easter, and that usually gives us an opportunity to spend time with family and friends, we asked our designers to submit any great photos they took this past weekend!

Stephanie's (of InkTree Designs) bulldog Bella really got into the Easter spirit!
So did Terri's bulldog puppy, Winston!
Amanda (of A plus B) sure has some cute kids!
As does Sarah Beth (of White Dog Paper Co)!

Hope you all had as happy an Easter as all these happy (and cute) campers!

Friday Link Collective {Earth Day 2014!}

It’s been a busy year here at Paper Style, and we can imagine it has been for you, too. But we definitely want to take a moment out of all the craziness to recognize that next Tuesday, April 22, 2014 is Earth Day!

So for today’s Friday Link Collective, here are some great links for celebrating the Earth!

2014’s Earth Day theme is “Green Cities”. You can learn more about what that means for all of us here!

Earth Day is all about helping in whatever way you can, whether you plant a tree, recycle, or buy local, there are immeasurable ways to make a difference. There are a usually events all around the nation that you can attend or volunteer at to spread awareness. Here in Atlanta, there are at least four big events put together by various colleges and communities.

If you don’t really have the time to volunteer, the Earth Day Network suggests participating with an Earth Dinner, which involves “planning a dinner with as many local, seasonal, and organic ingredients as possible – supporting local and organic farmers”.

Got some cookie monsters on your hands? These super cute Earth day cookies are easy to make and fun for the little ones. And whatever they don’t eat is left to you… So it’s a win-win, right?

We love these t-shirts from the guys at biff tees, demanding respect for your Mother (Earth). They’re made with “cotton, ink, hard work, and love”, a perfect combo for Earth Day.

Wishing you a happy & green Earth Day!
